Long Island man sexually assaulted sisters while delivering furniture: police

A Long Island man was arrested after he sexually assaulted two young sisters while delivering furniture in Queens, New York last week, PEOPLE confirms.

Eduard Ramirez, 44, was arraigned Monday afternoon on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly abusing two children, ages 5 and 6.

Ramirez allegedly assaulted the girls while another delivery man was setting up furniture in another room. He was arrested after the brothers told their parents what had happened.

This is the third arrest in a year for Ramirez, who is charged with two other sex crimes.

He was arrested in June and charged with unlawful surveillance after he left his cell phone in the women’s bathroom at Jack’s Shack restaurant in Glen Head, New York. And he was arrested last November after he allegedly exposed himself to a pair of sisters at the Glen Cove Stop & Shop. He has pleaded not guilty in both cases and is currently awaiting trial.

Ramirez was released on bail in last week’s alleged assault. He is now being held on a $50,000 bond.
