Apple announces September event where new iPhone is expected

Apple users eagerly awaiting a new iPhone model are likely to get their wish next month.

Company announced on Wednesday that it will hold a public event on September 7 where Apple is expected to launch its latest line of iPhones and likely other products.

In addition to the iPhone, the company could reportedly announce a new line of the Apple Watch.
