A boil water advisory has been issued in Ohio.

OHIO CO., Ky. (WFIE) – Much of Ohio County is under a boil advisory.

According to the Ohio County Water District, the leak started around 11 a.m. Thursday and was found and contained around noon. Water supply representatives say that the repair work was completed by 9 pm

A boil water advisory is in effect for customers along the following routes:

• Rochester Road
• Apple House Road
• Nineteenth School Road
• Schulztown Road
• Part of Hwy 269/Prentiss Road
• Cool Springs Road
• Old Saloon Lane
• Highview Lane
• Union Hill Road
• Scotttown Road
• Fulkerson Road
• Pond Run Church Road
• Happy Hollow Road

• Pier Lane
