BALTIMORE – The area enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but temperatures are expected to drop significantly overnight. Clear skies will prevail in the mid to upper 20s.

There will be plenty of sun on Sunday, but temperatures will be cooler in the afternoon, with highs in the lower 40s. Sunday night will also be cooler with lows returning to the mid-20s.

The first day of spring Monday will be mostly sunny with highs and lows in the mid-50s. Temperatures will gradually warm through the week with a mix of clouds and sun on Tuesday and highs in the 60s.

Clouds will increase on Tuesday night, and rain is possible in the area on Wednesday. Thursday’s high will be in the 60s, possibly reaching the 70s in many places.

Rain is likely throughout the week, with the heaviest chances Wednesday and Friday. The weekend will start with a few more showers, but temperatures will remain above average and in the low 60s into next week.
