Two injured in crash that blocked Hamilton Blvd

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Two people were injured in a crash that blocked part of a busy Sioux City street Thursday night.

The accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Hamilton Boulevard near South Plaza. Sioux City Police and Sioux City Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the two-vehicle accident.

Two people in one of the cars were injured and taken to a local hospital. There is no word on their current condition. The person in the other vehicle was not injured.

Investigators are still trying to determine how the crash happened.
